For many years I’ve been working to build an alternative-media infrastructure, and I believe Televandalism can be the next piece in that puzzle. The movie studios are being run by marketing executives and the “film festival indies” are essentially owned by the movie studios, which makes the outlook pretty bleak for any artist with more grit than your average tube of toothpaste. Hopefully, this will help bridge the gaps that movie studios no longer seem interested in bridging. The idea is to bring you exciting, alt-culture media in a simple, inexpensive way that also manages to support the artistic creators… sounds just crazy enough to work.
